Derek DuPont & The Wild

Derek DuPont is a Columbus, Ohio-based singer/songwriter who first picked up a guitar at age 9. After digging into the blues while he was in high school and then studying jazz at university, he embarked on a solo career and began to craft his textured, pop rock sound. Armed with razor sharp guitar chops and an ear for pop hooks, he formed his own band, Derek DuPont & the Wild, and subsequently cultivated a following around his local music community.
