Joywave emerged out of Rochester, NY with its electronically-inclined indie rock in 2010. After releasing its first LP, Koda Vista, on its own Joywave Industries imprint, the group had its first taste of media buzz for "Dangerous," its 2013 collaboration with Alan Wilkis's electropop project, Big Data. Joywave has since earned a following among indietronica and pop rock audiences, particularly after the release of its 2014 EP, How Do You Feel.
