Heiße Ecke - Das St. Pauli Musical is a musical theater production that centers on Heiße Ecke, the local watering hole of St. Pauli. Though Heiße Ecke is a simple snack bar, it serves as the epicenter of town where the various residents--garbage collectors and students, young bachelors and nurses, couples in both happy and bitter marriages, and even some tourists--find themselves mixed together in a series of hilarious events. Somewhat of a love letter to the St. Pauli borough of Hamburg, Heiße Ecke - Das St. Pauli Musical became a quick smash hit upon its world premiere in 2003.
