Wess Meets West is a post rock band from New York City that was founded in 2005. Interjecting layers of ambient instrumentals and subtlety propulsive rhythms, the group is able to construct a surprisingly cohesive narrative with its music. After solidifying its characteristically atmospheric sound during its formative years, Wess Meets West released its 2007 debut EP, You Women..., to favorable praise.
