With an affinity for cinematic pop, The Modern Electric crafts a warm, melodic brand of music that sometimes wanders into dark territory while still anchored to raw human emotion. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the band quickly collected a dedicated following on the live show circuit before releasing its first full-length effort in 2012. The self-titled LP earned the band widespread attention around the New England and Midwest regions and catalyzed several tours throughout the US.
