Heavy Breath is an experimental hardcore group from New Haven, Connecticut that released its debut album, Synthemesc Dreams, in 2010. Though the group's aggressive sound could be construed by many as falling within the realm of post hardcore, Heavy Breath incorporates a number of nontraditional arrangements and instrumental interplay to provide its music with a distinctively progressive sound.
