The Northern Lights is a New York City-based alternative hip-hop collective that blends a number of instrumentals typically resigned to the rock paradigm with low-end, rhythmic beats to create a forward-thinking style of music that's well-suited for the East Coast rap scene. The group released its debut album, Journey Through Your Mind's Eye, in 2010 and since then the group has been busy continually refining and evolving its distinctive sound.
