PapaFish

Hailing from the Los Angeles suburb of Northridge, PapaFish is a reggae fusion band that has managed to stand apart from the crowded reggae rock scene of Southern California. Besides being one of the only female-fronted bands in the community, the group quickly distinguished itself after forming in 2010 with its alternative sound and energetic, inclusive live shows. PapaFish released its debut EP, The Lab, in 2013 and has since grown its regional following into a national audience with its fusion of ska, modern rock and rootsy reggae.
