Guarani Futebol Clube, which is also known as “Bugre,” is a professional football club that competes in the Brasileirão Série B. It plays its home games at the Estádio Brinco de Ouro da Princesa. The club was founded in 1911 in the city of Campinas, São Paulo, by 12 enthusiastic students of Gymnasio do Estado. Little did they know that their team would eventually play amongst the best teams in Brazil. The club has won many accolades over the years including the Brasileirão Série A title.
