Alexandra Isley is a distinguished American singer, songwriter, and producer celebrated for her soulful vocal abilities and eclectic musical style. As the daughter of Ernie Isley from the renowned Isley Brothers, she draws inspiration from legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder and Prince. Beginning her classical vocal training at the age of 12, she later graduated from the LA County High School for the Arts and pursued jazz studies at UCLA. In 2012, Isley released her debut EP, The Love/Art Memoirs, which highlighted her smooth R&B sound infused with elements of hip-hop and jazz. She has collaborated with prominent artists including Masego, Lucky Daye, and Terrace Martin. Her collaborative works, Marigold (2022) and I Left My Heart in Ladera (2023), received widespread critical acclaim, with the latter making its debut on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. In 2024, Isley garnered two Grammy nominations as a featured artist on Robert Glasper's "Back to Love." She currently resides in Los Angeles and shares a daughter with singer Kenyon Dixon.
