About
Yoya is the collaborative project of long-time friends Alex Pfender and Noah Dietterich. Oregon natives, the two artists moved to California to study music and allowed the electronically-minded scene of Los Angeles to seep into their style before officially joining forces under the moniker yOya. The duo first captured its folk-tinged, synth-laden sound on the 2010 LP , Nothing To Die.
