About
B-Side Players is a San Diego-based funk band that blends distinct Latin flavors into its music. With influences from Cuba, Mexico and Brazil, the band uses overtones of Samba, Son Montuno and Jarocho and incorporates them into one cohesive fusion of jazz, rock and hip-hop. Formed in the mid-1990s, the group released its debut album, Renacimiento, in 1997.
