Shiny and the Spoon is a Cincinnati, Ohio-based outfit that crafts modern Americana music. With an acoustic folk sound powered by tight harmonies, the four-piece band emerged in 2008 and quickly captured a following with its intimate and accessible songwriting. Dropping its self-titled EP in 2010, Shiny and the Spoon set the stage for the 2011 release of both its debut and sophomore LPs, Ferris Wheel and Sing the Season.
