Sugar Land, Texas-based outfit Michaelis is a country rock trio that has captured a distinctive blend of raw classic country and the pop-educated country of the 1990s. Comprised of three sisters--Meagan, Mallory and Madeline Michaelis--the band was founded in 2000 with intrinsic chemistry and a shared affection for the rough and tumble aesthetic of its home state. Michaelis dropped its debut single, "Shoot Straight," in 2013 and subsequently captivated a dedicated audience among the national country music community.
