Born into a musical family and educated by the roots music of the South, Dan Varner owns a down-home country sound composed of elements of gospel, bluegrass and old-time country. A Cincinnati, Ohio native, he crafts his tunes with Midwest flavors, which have contributed threads of modern folk to his music.
