Sojourner is a band from Long Island, New York that released its debut EP, Overwhelming, in 2008. Blending elements of emo with post hardcore, the group creates an aggressive style of music that's well suited for the East Coast hard rock scene. Maintaining status as a well respected underground act, Sojourner has upheld its artistic integrity by not catering to mainstream tastes or altering its sound to correspond to record label tastes.
