The Fox Fire is a modern folk quartet from Brevard, North Carolina that was originally formed as a rock band between friends in high school. After the inclusion of banjo and stand-up bass into the musical foray, The Fire Fox rechristened itself a folk revival outfit. Becoming a well-known sensation in its hometown scene, the group could have rested on its localized laurels, but The Fire Fox's inner tenacity has pushed it to attempt national spotlight attention.
