George Mihalopoulos, who performs and releases music under his Gypsy George moniker, is a singer/songwriter who blends an assortment of varied genres into his own unique sonic amalgam. Based in New York City, he frequently holds impromptu jam sessions at many of the small clubs scattered around the city. Though he has released an assortment of studio material, beginning with his self-titled debut LP in 2007, he has truly distinguished himself as a live performer and a fixture of New York City's music scene.
