About
The German handball team, HSP Tarp-Wanderup, was founded in 1987. It is based in Tarp and Wanderup, which are two municipalities in Schleswig-Flensburg. One of the most pivotal moments in the team's history was winning the Northeast German championship in 1994. The win was not only a great achievement, but it also sent the team into the 2nd Bundesliga. Its run in the second-tier league never lasted for many seasons, but the team kept coming back. The team currently plays in the SH-Liga.
