K. Lierse Kempenzonen

Football club Lierse Kompenzonen was established in 1943 under the name FC Oosterzonen. After spending more than six decades in the provincial leagues, it was promoted Belgian Fourth Division for the first time in 2007. The club's form continued to grow between 2010 and 2015, and it secured promotion into Belgian First Amateur Division in 2016. It took on its current name in 2018 following its merger with Lierse S.K. and moved base to Lier, Antwerp. It plays its home games at the Herman Vanderpoortenstadion.
