Michael Sweet is a Christian rock singer/songwriter from Whittier, California. Initially rising to prominence in the 1980s as lead singer of the popular Christian metal band Stryper,Sweet would eventually release his self-titled debut album in 1994. Since then, he has kept active, releasing additional LPs and keeping a regular performance schedule.
