Neal Medlyn is a hip-hop artist and Texas native who creates music under the moniker Champagne Jerry. Based in Brooklyn, he began rapping when his friend Max Tannone of Jaydiohead asked is he wanted to collaborate on new material. Medlyn quickly adopted the name Champagne Jerry and submerged himself into the process of creating his own, contemporary hip-hop sound that resonated well with the underground scene of New York City.
