Simon Townshend is a London-based musician and singer/songwriter who is known for his guitar work with various artists, including Dave Grohl, Jeff Beck and his older brother, Pete Townshend of The Who. He released his debut solo album Sweet Sound, in 1983, and in addition to touring with The Who and playing in the numerous side projects of the band's founding members, he has since established himself as an ardent songwriter and front man. Townshend dropped his sixth studio album, Looking Out Looking In, with Eagle Rock Entertainment in 2012.
