About
SC Rheindorf Altach is one of the most competitive teams in the Bundesliga.The team hails from Altach, Vorarlberg and plays its home games at Stadion Schnabelholz. When it was founded in 1929, it was just a football division of a sports club and it played under the name FA Turnerbund Altach. But it solidified into a team after becoming independent in 1949 and has been known as SC Rheindorf Altach ever since. It has spent many years playing in the lower leagues but thanks to its incredible form during the second division 2005–06 season, it managed to outperform others and make its way into the Bundesliga.
