Turn- und Sportverein Hartberg, which is more popularly known as TSV Hartberg, is one of the teams that play in the Bundesliga. The team is based in the city of Hartberg and plays its home matches at Profertil Arena Hartberg. TSV Hartberg was founded in 1946 and it spent many of its initial years in the lower leagues. The turning point in its history arrived when it earned promotion into the Landesliga. It was the first big promotion of the team and more followed thanks to its impressive wins in the Erste Liga (2nd division) competitions.
