The Blue Angel Lounge is a German neo-psych group that was founded in 2006. The band was named after a club in New York City in the 1960s that offered German vocalist Nico her first few performances on American shores. With a slightly Gothic, psychedelic sound that congers imagery of the dark side of the hippie movement, bad acid trips and the Manson family murders, The Blue Angel Lounge builds cinematically rich music and is able to easily entice cultivated listeners to become dedicated fans.
