Immortal Bird is a Chicago-based blackened death metal band that blends together elements of grindcore, progressive and post metal together to create an extremely aggressive sounding style of hard rock. Founded in 2013, the group spent its formative years performing on the Chicago heavy metal scene, honing its sound and refining its songwriting style, before releasing its debut album, Empress/Abscess, in 2015.
