Rodrigo Amarante is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Rio de Janeiro who is possibly best-known for being a member of the Brazilian alternative rock band Los Hermanos as well as the Los Angeles-based indie pop outfit Little Joy. Amarante released his debut solo LP, Cavalo, in 2013 and the album's blend of distinctive Latin American music styles paired with forward thinking 21st century production aesthetics helped establish Amarante as an individual who isn't afraid to push the envelope of what's expected of him.
