Kiki Pau is a Finnish psychedelic rock band that initially emerged with the guitar pop sound of its 2008 debut album, Let's Rock. Abandoning the traditional verse-chorus-verse format, the band spent the next few years cultivating a deeper, moodier sound and eventually dropped its sophomore effort, White Mountain, in 2012. Inspired by 1960s psych-pop and early psychedelic folk experimentation, Kiki Pau has pushed itself into new sonic heights with each subsequent album, including 2013's Pines.
