Joel Gion & the Primary Colours is the psychedelic rock project of The Brian Jonestown Massacre's legendary percussionist Joel Gion. Along with his backing band, Gion weaves his own modern psychedelic fabric with familiar elements of folk rock, blues, acid rock and shoegaze. Based in San Francisco, Joel Gion & the Primary Colours continues to champion neo-psychedelic rock and bridge the West Coast community with other burgeoning psych scenes in the US.
