The Cerny Brothers is an Americana rock band that emerged out of Sherrard, IL with its 2011 debut album, Dream. After transplanting its Midwest roots to Los Angeles, the group mastered a raucous yet romantic folk rock sound and dropped its eponymous LP, in 2014. Recorded at fellow folk revivalist Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zero's studio in Southern California, the record earned The Cerny Brothers a quick following with its nostalgic Americana vibe and accessible songwriting.
