Formed in 2008, Pollens is a seven-piece outfit that owns an indie pop sound woven with African rhythms, choral harmonies and elements of both modern indie rock and trance. Initially founded as a duo composed of Jeff Aaron Bryant and Hanna Benn, the group added a new layer to its buoyant but dense sonic aesthetic with each new member. Pollens dropped its debut album, Brighten & Break, with Tapete Records in 2012.
