New Lungs is rock band from Seattle that creates a fusion of modern indie and emo music from the late 1990s. With a dynamic songwriting style, emotive lyrics and a fast, melodic sound, the band dropped its debut EP, How to Operate Your Brain in 2011. Along with its aggressive live performances, the record earned New Lung an enthusiastic local following as well as anticipation for its follow-up, the 2012 Lanterns EP.
