The Flavr Blue is a synthpop outfit that was formed in Seattle in 2011. Composed of three artists with backgrounds in the local hip-hop community, the band began experimenting with ambient synth compositions before landing on an indie pop sound driven by three-part harmonies. The Flavr Blue released its debut album Pisces, in 2012 and has since earned a national following with an ardent tour schedule and strong online presence.
