Thomas Arsenault is a Canadian artist, composer and musician who operates under the moniker Mas Yas. After giving into his affinity for electronic music while attending high school in Sao Paulo and studying modern music composition in Berlin, he cultivated a distinctive, avant-pop amalgam of synthpop, experimental and indietronice. Mas Yas signed with Downtown Records in 2013 and went on to release his debut record, the Worth EP, in 2014.
