South Sydney Rabbitohs are mot just one of the oldest Australian rugby league teams, but is also a founding member of the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSRWL). The team was established in 1908 and since then has gone on to become one of the greatest teams in the country. It got its first taste of victory way back in its debut season, when it overcame all of its opponents to clinch the premiership - a feat that no other team has since achieved. It built on its success from there and by the turn of the century it would hold the record for most number of premierships won, becoming one of the most successful teams in history.
