Tord Gustavsen

Tord Gustavsen is a Norwegian jazz pianist and composer whose decades long career has distinguished him as one of the more recognizable Scandinavian jazz pianists of his generation. Though he's currently based in Oslo, Gustavsen was raised in the rural town of Hurdal, in Southern Norway. After studying jazz for three years at Trondheim Musikkonsevatorium, Gustavsen would go on to receive his graduate degree in musicology from the University of Oslo. Having since gone on to establish himself with a number of ensembles, Gustavsen maintains a busy recording schedule as well as an impressive international touring regime.
