Cheetah Chrome

Eugene O'Connor, who performs and releases music under his Cheetah Chrome nickname, is a musician from Cleveland, Ohio who is probably best known as one of the founding members and guitarist for the seminal punk band The Dead Boys. After rampant drug usage forced the group to split up in 1979, Chrome would go on to play around the New York City area, primarily at the iconic punk venue Max's Kansas City. In addition to maintaining a solo career, Chrome has also maintained collaborative relationships with some of his New York punk cohorts  from the late 1970s, including New York Dolls member Sylvain Sylvain.
