Houston rapper Bun B is known best for his role as one half of the Southern rap duo UGK, alongside the late Pimp C. Bun's own career has been active since the UGK first began, though Bun's biggest critical and commercial success has come since the death of Pimp C. UGK was by far more critically and commercially successful than either of the two's solo careers, though Bun B's 2010 album Trill OG received five mics in the magazine The Source, a declaration that it is a modern classic.
