The Starbems is a J-rock band that emerged out of Tokyo in 2012. Creating its own brand of Japanese-flavored punk rock, the group collected a quick national following among broad audiences of both power pop and melodic hardcore. The Starbems released its debut album, Sad Marathon With Vomiting Blood, with Defstar Records in 2013.
