Mayu Wakisaka is a Japanese singer/songwriter who owns an acoustic pop sound filled with elements of folk, rock and jazz. After quitting law school to pursue her career in music, she enrolled at the LA Music Academy and recorded her debut EP, Stars Won't Fall, in 2010 while she was still a student. She went on to earn world-wide acclaim with songs like "Fall" and "Once," which won her the International Acoustic Music Award.
