About
Based in Los Angeles, Wardell is an indie folk outfit composed of sister and brother Sasha and Theo Spielberg, the children of iconic director Steven Spielberg who have managed to stand apart from their father's famous name since forming their band in 2010. The duo dropped its debut single "Opossum" to immediate acclaim, and after releasing only one more song, Wardell was signed to Jay Z's imprint Roc Nation. Wardell released its debut EP, Brother/Sister, in 2013.
