Mors Principium Est

Mors Principium Est is a Finnish melodic death metal band from Pori. Formed in 1999, the band's lineup was unstable in the beginning, but soon settled down to include Ville Viljanen, Jori Haukio, Jarkko Kokko, Toni Nummelin, Teemu Heinola and Mikko Sipola. Its first demo, Before Birth dropped in 2000 and caught the attention of French record label Listenable Records in 2001. Mors Principium Est signed a record deal with the label and released Liberation = Termination in March 2007. Its other works include Dawn of the 5th Era and Seven.
