Their / They're / There fuses punk, progressive and indie rock into a unique new style. The Chicago-based band was founded by Evan Weiss, Mike Kinsella and Matthew Frank, who've all been playing in other indie-rock groups. On its first single "Concession Speech Writer," the band combines raw vocals with experimental guitar solos, a formula that proved to be indicative of its style. Over a single weekend, the band recorded its 2014 EP Analog Weekend, which features James Dewees, another musical veteran, on piano.
