JoyCut is a post rock duo from Bologna, Italy. Founded in 2001, the group took several years to find its sonic footing and characteristic sound that it is now known for. Creating a rich sonic tapestry for itself by blending drone-y atmospherics against propulsive drumming, JoyCut has managed to create a unique sound for itself and distinguish itself as a band that's willing to create true-to-heart art regardless of the criticisms it might receive.
