Alessandro Siani is an Italian comedian who has built a reputation for his poignant and politically relevant style of humor. Born Alessandro Esposito, he adopted the surname of Giancarlo Siani, a journalist killed by the Camorra, to remember and pay reverance to an individual who gave his life for what he believed to be justice. Siani received his break in 1995, when he was awarded the prestigious Charlie Chaplin Award for Best Comedian of the Year.
