Diego Abatantuono is an Italian actor and stand-up comedian who is known for his blunt and oftentimes controversial sense of humor. Raised in an artistic household, Abatantuono started off his career in showbiz at a cabaret theater in Milan, at first working as a lighting designer, then an artistic director and eventually an actor. Though Abatantuono has since graduated to the silver screen, beginning with his film debut in 1976 with Liberi Armati Pericolosi, he still frequently appears in plays and on stand-up comedy circuits.
