California-based artist Devon Baldwin is a singer/songwriter and musician who first started turning heads after she appeared as a contestant on the eighth season of American Idol in 2009. Despite an early departure from the show, she has managed to redefine herself with a finely manicured alternative pop style and a more mature, shapely voice. Having since teamed up with rapper G-Easy, her now long-time collaborator, Baldwin has proven herself as a diverse singer who can transition between more hip-hop oriented material and her own soulful ballad compositions.
