Sydney Uni Flames is a women’s professional basketball team that represents the University of Sydney in the WNBL. The team was founded in 1981 as Bankstown Bruins and since 2002 they have been playing as Sydney Uni Flames. Throughout its history, the team has won the championships an impressive number of times. It has also been runners-up numerous times which is why it has earned the reputation for being one of the most competitive teams in the league.
