About
Based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's children's novel of the same name, A Little Princess is a stage production that tells the story of a young girl named Sara Crewe, whose doting father drops her off at a boarding school while he embarks on a quest to gain control of a diamond mine. Though she quickly develops friends with her kind heart and love for storytelling, her new life is quickly shattered with the news of her fathers death and the loss of his great fortune. Forced to work as a servant at the school by the cruel headmistress, she loses most of her friends and all of her possessions in one swift hit, though manages to hold onto her imagination, poise and kind spirit.
